Yanno that adage, “Everything happens for a reason?” I don’t think anybody would put me in jail for punching somebody in the neck for saying it to me. Well, maybe for today.

I started taking Lyrica, and it’s done a great job with kicking the allodynia back to faint twinges, and the stabbing below my third toe is mostly gone. I still am having a lot (Forreal, A LOT) of pain in my great toe, great toe joint, ball of my foot, and spasms in my pinkie toe. Especially on low barometric pressure days, like today. My pain clinic people are questioning the CRPS diagnosis, so maybe with this Lyrica development they will pay more attention to my inquiries and concerns about there being a mechanical problem.

    I enjoyed the last line. I feel the same as you about “everything happens for a reason” (no some stuff is just random). It’s great to scream out your frustrations on everything. I was going to ask how you’re coming along and then I read this post. I’m sorry that you’re in pain. I hope the clinic people will pay more attention to you and actually help you out. x

      Hey, thanks for thinking of me, and for writing. I have an appointment with them next week, and I’m going to be a jerk of a patient. Maybe unfairly, or not, but…I don’t really care about finding a distinction right now. Cheers ~

        Please be whatever you need to be so they’ll pay attention and do their jobs. It’s your pain. They would not like it if they were in your position. I’ll look out for your updates. x
